The industrial range of self-powered tank contents gauges have been designed to give a simple but effective and coninuous read-out of tank contents. We are able to offer three sizes of indicator - 100mm, 160mm or 250mm, all of which are stainless steel and weatherproof. There are five types of sensors, two external mounting and four internal types, and with all the sensor types available in Mild Steel, Brass and 316 Stainless Steel most applications can be met from the range available. This range of gauges has also been developed to accept a pressure transmitter from which a 4-20mA signal can be received, or a mechanical switching unit that allows micro switches to operate at pre-set levels of tank contents. The TX10 is a two wire 4-20mA transmitter that has been designed for the industrial market. The TX10 is simply coupled to a sensor by a length of capillary allowing it to be mounted close by if required or, in the event of a hazardous area, the capaillary can be be extended to allow mounting in a safe area. As the TX10 operates in the same inert gas system as the hydrostatic gauge the two can be coupled together to give both gauge indication and a 4-20mA signal. With the gauge giving a continuous read out locally the TX10 can operate analogue Indicators at a distance whilst also giving 4-20mA signal to a B.M.S. Additional items such as trip amplifiers can also be wired in to the current loop for switching or alarm. For applications where a micro switch is required for control the 400 Series can give single or multi-level switching when coupled to a sensor by a length of capillary. Typical arrangements for this type of application are for High/Low alarm or pump operation. The precision micro switches are rated 250V-10Amps. Coupling the 400 Series to a hydrostatic gauge gives a visual display of contents whilst giving all the options of pump control or just contacts for an alarm. |
